Kioxia Announces Another EOL Notification, Including Certain Floating Gate and BiCS FLASH™ gen.3 Products

On March 31, Kioxia issued another EOL notification to customers, announcing that it will discontinue the manufacture of certain Floating Gate and BiCS FLASH™ gen.3 products in 2028. The products include  floating-gate products based on 32/24/15nm processes (SLC/MLC/TLC), as well as BiCS Flash Gen3 wafers, BGA, TSOP, eMMC, UFS, and NormalSD. Kioxia stated that the deadline for last time buy forecast is September 30, 2026, and the last time shipment date is December 31, 2028. Previously, Kioxia had announced to customers the discontinuation of MLC NAND flash memory products in Thin Small Outline Package (TSOP) on March 16.
