According to data from South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the country's total exports in 2025 will grow by 3.8% to $709.7 billion, marking the first time in South Korea's history that exports have exceeded the $700 billion mark.
Notably, the semiconductor industry drove overall growth, with exports reaching a record $173.4 billion—an increase of 22.2% year-on-year. Automobile exports also hit an all-time high of $72 billion, up 1.7% from the previous year.

Exports to China fell by 1.7% to $130.8 billion;Exports to the United States decreased by 3.8% to $122.9 billion;Exports to ASEAN rose by 7.4%;Exports to the EU grew by 3%.
