According to data from CFM, the global DRAM market reached $147.024 billion in Q2 2026, up 55.9% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), hitting a new all-time high. DRAM manufacturers actively responded to robust server market demand in Q2, continuing to expand sales of high-value-added products such as server DRAM and HBM. Compared to Q1, when server and PC DRAM ASPs roughly doubled QoQ, the price increase moderated to the 40%–50% range in Q2. The favorable pricing environment drove DRAM prices to remain strong, resulting in growth in both volume and price, which in turn propelled a substantial QoQ surge in manufacturers' Q2 revenues.
Looking ahead to Q3, manufacturers and select server customers have already locked in upper price limits under long-term agreements, and the room for further price increases outside of long-term contracts is also shrinking quarter by quarter. As a result, DRAM ASPs are expected to continue rising QoQ in Q3, albeit at a slower pace. Meanwhile, with DRAM bit shipments projected to achieve positive growth in Q3, manufacturers' Q3 DRAM revenues are forecast to reach yet another record high.
Specifically:
Samsung posted Q2 DRAM revenue of $59.118 billion, up 54.7% QoQ, with a market share of 40.2%, firmly retaining the top position.
SK Hynix recorded Q2 DRAM revenue of $38.434 billion, up 37.6% QoQ, with a market share of 26.1%, ranking second. Its DRAM price gains were partially offset by the still-significant proportion of HBM in its shipment mix, resulting in a lower QoQ growth rate compared to other manufacturers.
Micron achieved Q2 (March–May 2026) DRAM revenue of $31.328 billion, up 66.9% QoQ, with a market share of 21.3%, ranking third.
CXMT (ChangXin Memory Technologies) posted Q2 DRAM revenue of $14.545 billion, surging 99% QoQ, with its market share approaching 10%, ranking fourth. This was primarily driven by the fact that mobile LP4X/5X products, which account for the majority of its supply mix, saw price increases leading all other application markets, giving CXMT the highest QoQ revenue growth rate among all manufacturers.
Nanya Technology recorded Q2 DRAM revenue of $2.599 billion, up 68% QoQ, with a market share of 1.8%.
Winbond Electronics posted Q2 DRAM revenue of $1 billion, up 77.8% QoQ, with a market share of 0.7%.
