According to Korean media reports, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman met on the morning of the 25th (local time) at OpenAI's headquarters in San Francisco. OpenAI did not disclose the specific agenda or topics discussed. It is said that the two sides discussed expanding cooperation in the field of AI infrastructure, including HBM, DRAM, and advanced wafer foundry technologies. They may have also discussed transformation plans to apply generative AI across Samsung Electronics' various business divisions.
