SPIL Acquires URE Plant in Zhunan for NT$2.8 Billion to Expand Production Capacity

On January 13, Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. (SPIL), a subsidiary of ASE Technology Holding Co., acquired a factory in Zhunan from solar manufacturer United Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (URE) for NT$2.801 billion (approximately $86.6 million USD) to expand its production capacity.

The facility is located at No. 66 and 68, Keyan Road, Zhunan Township, Miaoli County, and includes the plant building and ancillary equipment. The total transaction value, excluding taxes, is NT$2.801 billion (approximately $86.6 million USD).
