Phison Electronics has signed a MoU with Beijing Unis Memory Technology, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup specializing in NAND flash memory modules, to establish a strategic partnership in the storage device market.
Phison develops and manufactures NAND flash device controllers and modules, and expects to work closely with Unis Memory by providing one-stop services from chip design and development to contract manufacturing.
Through its tie-up with Unis Memory, Phison is also looking to expand further its presence in China.
