SanDisk Introduces SANDISK Optimus™ SSD Product Brand

SanDisk announced that it will rename its internal solid-state drive product line for gamers, content creators, and professionals to SANDISK Optimus™.

The new series includes three product lines:

SANDISK Optimus™: Designed for content creators seeking extreme performance, succeeding the previous WD Blue®​ brand.

SANDISK Optimus™ GX: Targets gamers demanding fast load times and high efficiency, replacing the former WD_BLACK™​ brand (e.g., SN7100 NVMe SSD).

SANDISK Optimus™ GX PRO: Caters to developers, professionals, and gamers for building AI PCs or workstations, also succeeding the WD_BLACK™​ brand (e.g., SN8100 NVMe SSD).

The transition from the WD_BLACK™​ and WD Blue®​ brands to the SANDISK Optimus™​ brand identity begins immediately.
