Samsung Electronics has announced the acquisition of Nanoradio, a developer of low-power wireless LAN chipsets for mobile phones.
Nanoradio specializes in developing small-form-factor Wi-Fi chipsets with high performance and low power consumption for cellular platforms. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Sweden, the firm has approximately 60 employees.
