IC packaging and testing house King Yuan Electronics (KYEC) expects its revenues to grow at a single-digit rate in the third quarter of 2010 due to a high base recorded in the second quarter.
Thanks to orders from MediaTek, Novatek Microelectronics, Himax Technologies, Winbond, Macronix International and Nvidia, KYEC's LCD driver IC testing capacity is currently running at over 80%, logic ICs at 70-80% and memory products at 60-65%, the company revealed.
The high capacity utilization rates will help drive up revenues in the third quarter, the company noted.
The company's plant in Suzhou, China will also contribute significantly to its profit growth in 2010, KYEC added.
