Memory module firms Adata Technology and Transcend Information have reported sequential increases in July consolidated revenues at 3.9% and 6.7%, respectively.

Adata posted revenues of NT$1.55 billion for July 2015. Sales of its DRAM products accounted for 37% of the company's total revenues in July, while NAND flash and other products made up the remaining 63%.

Adata indicated that PC DRAM prices are set to hit bottom soon, as chip vendors intend to stop the prices from falling further. PC DRAM prices will likely see a short-term rebound in the fourth quarter of 2015, the module maker said.

Adata had less than a month of DRAM inventory as of the end of second-quarter 2015, the company added.

Fellow company Transcend generated July revenues of NT$2.09 billion. Revenues totaled NT$14.25 billion for the first seven months of 2015, down 10.9% on year.
