Foldable iPhone Reportedly Producing Only a Few Hundred Units Per Day, Initial Supply May Fall Short of Market Demand

According to foreign media citing sources familiar with the matter, Apple added a new verification process in August specifically to ensure that the foldable iPhone could be mass-produced in accordance with the established design specifications, which directly delayed the planned commercial production schedule. Constrained by Apple's stringent quality control standards, the foldable iPhone is currently producing only a few hundred units per day, which is far below the tens of thousands of units per day required for large-scale commercial shipments. Apple and its suppliers are making every effort to ramp up production capacity, but if they are unable to significantly increase output in the short term, the device will face severe channel inventory shortages when it officially goes on sale.
