The eight Chinese ministries and commissions include the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), have jointly issued the Implementation Opinions on the "AI + Manufacturing" Special Action(hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Opinions). The document emphasizes strengthening the supply of AI computing power by promoting the integrated development of hardware and software for AI chips, and supporting breakthroughs in key technologies such as high-end training chips, edge-side inference chips, AI servers, high-speed interconnects, and intelligent computing cloud operating systems. By 2027, China aims to achieve secure and reliable supply of core AI technologies, with its industrial scale and empowerment capabilities ranking among the world's top tiers. Additionally, a globally leading open-source ecosystem will be established, with enhanced security governance to contribute China's solutions to AI development.
