Esearch Firm: Global PC Shipments Reach 280 Million Units in 2025, Up 9.2% Year-on-Year

Omdia released a report stating that global PC shipments totaled 279.5 million units in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%. Mobile segment shipments reached approximately 220.4 million units, up 8% year-on-year, accounting for 78.87% of the total. Desktop segment shipments reached about 59 million units, up 14.4% year-on-year, accounting for 21.11%.

Among brands, Lenovo continued to lead, with fourth-quarter shipments of 19.31 million units and full-year shipments exceeding 70 million units, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%. HP ranked second with fourth-quarter shipments of 15.38 million units. Dell came in third, achieving its best quarterly performance of the year in the fourth quarter with a 26% year-on-year increase and full-year shipments of 41.89 million units. Apple had the fastest growth for the full year, shipping 28 million units, a year-on-year increase of 16.4%. ASUS ranked fifth, with fourth-quarter shipments of 5.3 million units and full-year shipments of approximately 20 million units.
