Groq Inks Non-Exclusive License with NVIDIA, Core Team to Join

AI chip startup Groq announced that it has entered into a non-exclusive license agreement with NVIDIA for its inference technology. Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, Groq Founder Jonathan Ross, President Sunny Madra and other core team members will join NVIDIA to jointly advance the upgrade and large-scale application of the licensed technology. Groq will continue to operate as an independent company, with Simon Edwards set to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Groq's cloud services will remain in normal operation, unaffected by this collaboration.
