According to the latest analysis of Omdia, Mainland China's PC shipments declined by 2% year-over-year to 8.9 million units while tablet volumes dipped by 5% year-over-year to 8.3 million units, in Q1 2026. The subdued performance was driven by rising device prices amid higher component costs, compounded by weakening support in the form of consumer subsidies. Omdia's latest forecast expects PC shipments in mainland China to decline 14% to 36 million units in 2026, while tablet shipments are anticipated to fall 11% to 32 million units.
