According to a report by South Korean media, Samsung Electronics' System LSI business division has completed the development of a 5G modem for Tesla's electric vehicles, with the project now entering the testing phase. Mass supply is expected to commence in the first half of 2026, and the modems will be first deployed in Tesla's Robotaxi autonomous taxi fleet.
