According to the latest data from South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT, the country's information and communications technology (ICT) exports reached $264.29 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 12.4%, setting a new historical high. Driven by expanding demand for high-value storage and sustained price increases in general-purpose semiconductors like DRAM, South Korea's semiconductor exports for the full year totaled $173.48 billion, a surge of 22.1% year-on-year. This marks the second consecutive year of double-digit growth for the semiconductor sector, also setting a new record.
