Domestic GPU Manufacturer Sunrise Launched New-Generation Inference GPU Chip Qiwang S3

On January 27, Sunrise unveiled the new-generation inference GPU chip Qiwang S3 in Hangzhou, along with Huanwang SC3 super-node solution and inference cloud plan for large model inference. It is reported that Qiwang S3 supports flexible multi-precision switching from FP16 to FP4 and it is the first GPGPU chip in China adopted LPDDR6 memory solution, quadrupling the memory capacity. Following Sunrise's roadmap of "mass-producing one generation, launching one generation, and pre-researching one generation", cost-effective inference GPU chip Qiwang S3 will be released this year, high-performance inference GPU chip Qiwang S4 is set to launch in 2027, while secure and controllable inference GPU chip Qiwang S5 is scheduled to release in 2028.
