Intel has officially launched its third-generation Core Ultra processors, codenamed "Panther Lake,"

marking the company's first product series utilizing its advanced Intel 18A process technology. Compared to the previous Lunar Lake series, the new Panther Lake processors are projected to deliver a performance improvement of up to 50% while operating at a similar power level.

Within the 3rd Gen Intel Core Ultra mobile processor lineup, the new Intel Core Ultra X9 and X7 processors feature integrated Intel Arc graphics and are designed for multi-tasking users, capable of handling demanding workloads such as gaming, content creation, and productivity on the go. The flagship SKU packs up to 16 CPU cores, 12 Xe cores, and an NPU delivering 50 TOPS, offering up to a 60% increase in multi-threaded performance, over 77% better gaming performance, and battery life of up to 27 hours.

Consumer laptops featuring the 3rd Gen Intel Core Ultra processors will begin pre-orders on January 6, 2026, and become available globally starting January 27, 2026.
